Aspire Community Theatre Group

This is a community group run by the artistic director of Footprints Theatre Company.

Aspire meet regularly at:

 Lion Walk Church Hall, Colchester Town Centre 

 Fridays from 7.30pm to 9pm

 All ages of the community are welcome. 

Projects to date include a Site specific production in the church written by the group, 'Petticoat Rebellion' - an historical piece based on the Suffragette movement.

'Hurt' by Nicola Werenowska, November 2008. This play was commissioned for the community group and written by professional playwright Nicola Werenowska, who also wrote 'The Pea Pickers' for Eastern Angles. 'Hurt' looks at a family that are having problems adjusting to family life after tragedy has struck.

Aspire has also created a site specific production called 'christmas reflections' in December 08.
