KS4 and KS5
Work in this area will be much more specific to suit examination syllabi in drama, dance, performing arts, or to develop creative writing within English.

Exemplar project:
GCSE drama students visited and engaged in a directed exploration of an old church, and its grounds in their local community. They initially explored their ideas as a sound collage in different parts of the site responding to natural sounds, found objects, light and warmth; they then developed this work into dramatic performances using the specific environments found at the site as their inspiration.

‘The atmosphere here is very alive, it is peaceful because there is no real sound of traffic or machinery just nature’
‘It tells the story of 2 war heroes that die’

‘I have enjoyed the way we had freedom to create our own performances…I also liked the way we were actually at the church rather than having to imagine it’
‘I had an amazing time, I learnt loads’
